Glen Matlock and the Philistines - 'On Something'
WHO? Original Sex Pistols bassist, obviously
SOUNDS LIKE? a bit like the Pistols, mixed with punk's pub rock roots and the rockin' side of the Small Faces and Mott the Hoople.
STANDOUT TRACK? 'On Something'. Excellent song.
VERDICT? Best thing Matlock has written for 30 years. Timeless rock 'n' roll pop.
